Controlling your life by yourself

If you want to control your own life, you need to control the information you get.

It doesn’t mean that you should get the information in front of you that seems interesting.

This is because the information around you is intentionally set by someone.

For example, when you look at SNS, you feel like you can choose the information you want to know.

However in fact, you’re always just getting the information that someone deliberately recommends.

Even if you feel like you can choose the information you want, someone else is controlling that information without realizing it.

The information you get has a big impact on your values. That's called the priming effect.

The priming effect is a term that means the behavior is unconsciously influenced by receiving some prior stimulus.

For example, if you ask the question, "What kind of costume does Santa wear?" followed by the question, "What fruit comes to mind?"

Then you are more likely to be inspired by Santa's red costume and answer red fruit. This is the priming effect.

In addition, Subliminal effects and propaganda are also forms of manipulation of consciousness by such information.

Therefore your values are shaped by the information you get, and that information is set by someone else.

In other words, your values are shaped by someone else if you don't care about the information.

Recently, I don't dare to look at media such as TV and SNS.

When it comes to information, I pick and choose what I need for my work.
